WP ad
YKU was one of the key organizations that provided resources and technical support towards the formation of the National Korean American Service & Education Consortium (NAKASEC). NAKASEC was founded in 1995 to project a national voice on major civil rights and immigrant rights issues.
Photo: NAKASEC initiated the "Justice for Immigrants -Washington Post Ad Campaign" to build a national effort against the welfare reform and immigration reform laws, which were eventually passed in 1996.
